I’ve played many roles in 20 years of creative work.
Designer. Author. Curator. Niche Historian. Whatever hat I’m wearing, I bring energy, historical perspective, and ample bombast to the work at hand—armed with a passion for design and belief in storytelling as a powerful cultural force. I’m an advocate for design, an avowed maximalist, a retro aficionado, and a firm believer that together is better.
I look back to imagine tomorrow.
I’m passionate about the history of pop culture brands! The cultural meaning of brands is more than just their economic impact—they remind us of important stories and the objects and entertainment that touch us. These themes crisscross my work, whether it’s as the author of the best-selling Art of Atari and Pac-Man: Birth of an Icon, Head of Design at MobyFox, or designing high-end toy packaging with Super 7.
